Job Description
This is a talent pool application for a clean energy company focused on solar energy projects, offering opportunities across various departments such as finance, asset management, business development, operations, legal, marketing, and policy, with the goal of building a sustainable and resilient energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee accounting, financial planning, reporting, internal controls, cash management, and banking relationships.
- Manage solar and storage assets to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Expand the company's distributed solar and storage pipeline through market outreach and site origination.
- Lead capital raising efforts, investor relationships, and project investment diligence.
- Acquire fully developed community solar and storage projects prior to construction.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of solar and storage projects from planning to interconnection.
- Operate and maintain solar and storage assets to maximize energy production and financial performance.
- Support community solar customers with onboarding, subscription management, and ongoing service.
- Provide legal guidance to protect company interests and support business objectives.
- Drive demand through brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement.
- Ensure projects are financeable, on schedule, and transitioned smoothly to operations.
- Attract, develop, and support talent while fostering an engaging employee environment.
- Advance policy outcomes and market strategies through regulatory leadership and analytics.
- Enable productivity through product, software, data, IT, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Build organizational and operational foundations to support company growth and profitability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- Experience in taking initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across an organization, demonstrating accountability and an ownership mentality.
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
- Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
