Job Description
The Junior Project Manager - Field Services is responsible for coordinating and overseeing field service projects related to the installation and maintenance of utility meters in multifamily and commercial buildings, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services while supporting the company's growth and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee field service projects related to submetering installations and maintenance
- Ensure timely and accurate installation, calibration, and servicing of meters in multifamily and commercial buildings
- Manage communication between clients, field technicians, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Assist in planning and scheduling field activities to optimize resource utilization and project timelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management or a related field, preferably in field services or utility management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and vendors effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents related to utility meters and submetering systems.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools to track progress and documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform site visits, including walking, standing, and inspecting meters and equipment at various locations.
- Willingness to travel locally to different field sites as required for project installation and maintenance activities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to metering and billing systems.
