Job Description

The Spacecraft Deployment Engineer at Loft Orbital is responsible for developing and managing software that ensures the seamless integration and operation of spacecraft components within their space platform, supporting various missions and satellite deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless integration of spacecraft products within the space platform, including Bus, Hub, and payloads.
  • Develop and manage software products essential for spacecraft operations.
  • Collaborate with international teams to communicate complex technical ideas effectively.

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively, convey complex ideas, and communicate important messages.
  • Ability to develop and manage software products crucial for efficient operations within the spacecraft deployment process.
  • Experience or knowledge related to integrating products within a space platform, including the Bus, Hub, and Loft-controlled payloads.
  • Problem-solving skills applicable to spacecraft deployment and related software development tasks.
  • Ability to work in an international team environment across multiple offices (San Francisco, CA; Golden, CO; Toulouse, France).
