Job Description
The Senior Satellite Systems Engineer at Orbitworks will lead the development and management of multiple satellite missions, serving as the technical expert and coordinating with various teams to ensure successful mission execution in a satellite manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development activities for one or multiple satellite missions with multi-payload configurations.
- Serve as the technical reference for assigned satellite missions.
- Collaborate with mission managers and cross-functional teams including product development, flight and ground software, AIT, and operations.
Requirements
- Work as lead engineer for one or several satellite missions simultaneously, each one flying a single multi-payload configuration.
- Be the technical reference for these missions, working closely with the mission manager and all the Orbitworks and Loft teams' product development teams, flight and ground software, AIT, and operations.
- Lead the development activities of the missions you are in charge of using flight proven satellite buses and Loft designed payload hub infrastructure.
