Job Description
The Senior Satellite Program Manager will lead the execution of complex spacecraft and mission programs from contract award to on-orbit delivery, overseeing schedule, cost, risk, and coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and launch activities in a hands-on leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of complex spacecraft and mission programs from contract award through on-orbit delivery
- Establish a credible program baseline and drive disciplined execution across engineering, manufacturing, AIT, launch, and suppliers
- Build and own Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Manage program cost and risk
- Act as the primary execution interface to customers and internal leadership
Requirements
- Lead execution of complex spacecraft and mission programs from contract award through on-orbit delivery, establishing a credible program baseline and driving disciplined execution across engineering, manufacturing, AIT, launch, and suppliers.
- Build and own Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for spacecraft and mission programs.
- Manage program cost and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary execution interface to customers and internal leadership, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
- Possess hands-on leadership experience in program execution, not just coordination roles.
- Have experience in leading programs from contract award to on-orbit delivery of spacecraft and mission systems.
