Job Description

A Senior Sales Engineer responsible for managing technical customer engagements from initial discussions to contract signing, acting as a technical translator between customers and engineering teams in the space industry. The role involves supporting business development efforts for a company providing end-to-end space mission services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical translator between customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Own technical customer engagements from initial discussions to contract signing.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas with clarity and precision.
  • Understand and discuss mission or payload requirements with customers.
  • Support business development efforts through technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical customer engagement role, owning technical customer engagements end-to-end from early discussions on mission or payload requirements to contract signature.
  • Background coming from a modern space service or mission provider environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas with precision.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, ambiguous settings.
  • Proficiency in acting as a technical translator between customers and internal engineering teams.
