Job Description
The Receiving Inspector is responsible for ensuring incoming parts and materials meet quality standards, supporting production operations, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to resolve non-conformances and improve inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure incoming parts and materials meet workmanship and contractual standards
- Verify that materials are ready for use and properly stored in inventory
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to define inspection requirements
- Identify and resolve non-conformances in incoming materials
- Streamline and improve inspection processes
Requirements
- Ensure incoming parts and materials meet applicable workmanship and contractual standards and are ready for use when put on the shelf in inventory.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations functions to help define inspection requirements, identify non-conformances, and resolve them.
- Possess the ability to perform product inspections and maintain quality standards in a manufacturing or production environment.
