Job Description
The Onboard Software Solutions Engineer is responsible for creating, configuring, testing, and deploying onboard software for satellite missions, working on both future systems and real-time issues during live missions to support space deployment and satellite manufacturing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and deploy onboard software components for satellite missions
- Extend and adapt onboard software to fit specific satellite architectures and requirements
- Develop, perform end-to-end testing, and release onboard software
- Address and resolve real-time issues during live missions
Requirements
- Experience in creating, configuring, and deploying onboard software components dedicated to a program or mission.
- Ability to configure and extend agnostic onboard software to fit a given satellite architecture and requirements.
- Experience in the development, end-to-end testing, and release of onboard software.
- Proficiency in working on real-time issues on live missions and solving problems as they occur.
- Experience working with modern automated infrastructure related to space and software systems.
