Job Description
The Software Engineer in Test will develop, configure, and deploy onboard software components for satellite missions, working on end-to-end testing and real-time problem solving to support space missions and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and deploy onboard software components for satellite missions
- Develop, test, and release onboard software to fit specific satellite architectures and requirements
- Work on real-time troubleshooting and problem-solving during live missions
- Build and maintain automated infrastructure for onboard software development and deployment
Requirements
- Experience in creating, configuring, and deploying onboard software components dedicated to a program or mission.
- Ability to configure and extend agnostic onboard software to fit a given satellite architecture and requirements.
- Experience in the development, end-to-end testing, and releasing of onboard software.
- Strong problem-solving skills to work on real-time issues on live missions and help solve problems as they occur.
- Ability to work with modern automated infrastructure, including building and maintaining such systems.
- Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively within an international team and convey complex ideas.
- Problem solver and great communicator with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and participate in SatDevOps training to operate spacecraft.
