A Mechanical Engineer at Loft is responsible for owning complex hardware throughout its lifecycle, developing standardized products for space missions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support hardware integration, testing, and on-orbit operations in the satellite launch industry.

Requirements
Own complex hardware throughout the lifecycle and work closely with partner teams including flight software, embedded systems, integration test, and on-orbit operations.
Possess strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively, convey complex ideas, and communicate important messages.
Have experience in developing, supporting production integration, and testing of hardware products.
Demonstrate the ability to perform clean sheet development of hardware products.
Have a background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (implied by the role of Mechanical Engineer).
