This internship involves assisting the RF team in designing, simulating, and validating miniature antennas for spaceborne applications, contributing to the development of future satellite missions and RF payloads.
Key Responsibilities
Propose new antenna designs for space missions based on scientific literature and EM simulation tools.
Simulate and validate antenna concepts to optimize performance and size for satellite applications.
Collaborate closely with senior RF engineers to support antenna integration and development efforts.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a university program related to antenna design, electromagnetic simulation, or a similar field, and able to undertake a 6-month internship starting early 2026.
Ability to work closely with senior engineers from the RF team and propose new antenna designs for future missions.
Familiarity with scientific literature related to antenna design and electromagnetic (EM) simulation tools.
Capability to simulate and validate antenna concepts using commercial EM simulation tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to tasks that save valuable engineering time for the RF team.
Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively within an international team and convey complex ideas clearly.
