Job Description
A software developer intern role focused on developing and improving software tools for simulating and analyzing Direction of Arrival (DOA) payloads for satellite missions, primarily using Python, to enhance payload performance analysis and support satellite operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve software tools for Direction of Arrival (DOA) payload simulation and analysis.
- Create a Python-based suite of tools for DOA payload performance analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine radio frequency payload performance analysis processes.
- Utilize software development tools such as GitLab, Copilot, and VSCode to model and solve space system challenges.
Requirements
- Ability to develop and improve software tools for Direction of Arrival (DOA) payload simulation and analysis, specifically in Python.
- Experience working closely with a Performance Systems Engineer or similar role to develop software tools for satellite payload analysis.
- Familiarity with using software development tools such as GitLab, Copilot, and VSCode.
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through the ability to write a short Python script as part of the interview process.
- Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively within an international team and convey complex ideas clearly.
- Educational background or technical knowledge related to Space Systems, satellite design, or payload analysis (implied by the context of developing tools for satellite missions).
