Job Description
The job involves developing and refining user interfaces for satellite operations software and working on end-to-end satellite mission deployment, including translating mission objectives into operational workflows and supporting on-orbit satellite activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine the UI of Loft's satellite operations software (Cockpit).
- Empower end-users with satellite management capabilities through frontend development.
- Collaborate with the Frontend Engineering team and the wider Software team on project development.
Requirements
- Proficiency in frontend engineering with experience working on projects involving UI refinement and development of satellite management capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate with peers on the Frontend Engineering team and interface with the wider Software team.
- Experience translating mission objectives into executable workflows, configurations, and tooling that ensure reliable, scalable on-orbit execution.
- Strong understanding of satellite operations, customer engineering, software development, systems engineering, and program execution as they relate to mission deployment.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment involving satellite operations, customer engineering, software development, systems engineering, and program execution.
- Experience operating real spacecraft and working directly with customers to build mission applications on top of Loft’s API and operational infrastructure.
- Proficiency in translating customer requirements and mission objectives into operational workflows and configurations.
- Ability to work in an international environment and communicate effectively with teams across different locations.
