Job Description
The Director of Regulatory Compliance in France is responsible for managing all regulatory, trade, and compliance activities related to Loft's space operations in France and Europe, ensuring regulatory approvals, legal compliance, and audit readiness to support satellite missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory, trade, and compliance activities supporting Loft's operations in France and Europe.
- Secure regulatory approvals for space missions and satellite programs.
- Manage compliance with French and EU laws related to space, spectrum, and export control.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including French authorities like ANFR and CNES.
- Ensure satellite programs remain audit-ready across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- A strong command of French and the European regulatory framework, especially related to space, spectrum, and export control.
- Experience in securing regulatory approvals for space missions and satellite programs.
- Experience in managing compliance with French and EU laws related to space, spectrum, and export control.
- Ability to work closely with technical and legal teams, as well as external stakeholders including French authorities like ANFR and CNES.
- Based in Toulouse, France, or willing to relocate to Toulouse, France.
- Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively within an international team and convey complex ideas.
