Job Description
The Public Relations Specialist at LaunchSquad is responsible for developing and executing storytelling strategies for clients in the technology and lifestyle sectors, building media relationships, creating thought leadership content, and managing multiple accounts in a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute storytelling opportunities for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
- Research and create well-structured bylines and pitches.
- Develop and write thought leadership content for executives.
- Manage multiple accounts and balance competing priorities.
- Guide and share knowledge with new team members.
Requirements
- Experience developing subject matter expertise for complex topics and quickly learning about new technology products and services.
- Ability to develop well-researched, structured bylines and thoughtful, concise pitches.
- Experience actively building new relationships with key media contacts and finding new proactive media opportunities for clients.
- Experience developing and writing key pieces of thought leadership content for executives.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and objectives across four teams.
- Proven track record of producing consistent, high-quality results in public relations activities.
