Job Description
The Public Relations Manager at LaunchSquad leads multiple client accounts in technology sectors, overseeing strategic communications, guiding teams, and delivering innovative PR programs for startups and mid-stage companies in a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple client accounts across various technology verticals.
- Plan, prioritize, and direct the activities of account teams to achieve program goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to clients and make work decisions to meet objectives.
- Contribute to challenging or innovative program initiatives.
- Establish work standards and expectations, coaching team members to ensure quality.
- Deliver program results to clients by leading by example.
- Collaborate with senior team members on agency activities such as talent coaching and new business pitches.
Requirements
- A public relations manager with direct PR experience capable of leading four accounts across a variety of B2B or B2C technology sectors.
- Experience planning, prioritizing, and leading across four or more teams in emerging and expanding verticals including transportation logistics, enterprise software, AI, and finance.
- Ability to guide the day-to-day direction of account teams, provide recommendations to clients, and make strategic work decisions.
- Experience actively contributing to the work, often taking responsibility for the most challenging or innovative program goals.
- Skills as a teacher and coach, establishing consistent guidelines for work standards and expectations at both individual and team levels.
- A demonstrated eye for quality work and the ability to lead by example to deliver program results to clients.
- Experience working directly with senior team members on agency activities such as teaching, coaching talent, and pitching new work on new or existing accounts.
