Job Description
The Senior Public Relations Specialist at LaunchSquad is responsible for managing large public relations programs for startup and mid-stage companies, creating impactful stories, pitching media, and mentoring junior team members in a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and oversee large public relations programs for multiple accounts
- Manage day-to-day operations of smaller account teams
- Generate impactful media results through writing and pitching
- Place proactive company stories and write contributed articles independently
- Lead and mentor junior team members in public relations fundamentals
Requirements
- Experience as a public relations professional with a track record of generating consistent, impactful results.
- Expert writing skills and seasoned media pitching experience.
- Ability to place proactive company stories and write contributed articles for executives independently.
- Experience owning and overseeing large public relations programs on four accounts.
- Ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of smaller account teams at times.
- Confidence in performing public relations work independently.
- Ability to teach new, junior teammates the fundamentals of public relations.
- Experience working with startup and mid-stage technology, consumer lifestyle, and media companies is preferred.
