Job Description
The Public Relations Senior Specialist at LaunchSquad is an experienced PR professional responsible for managing large public relations programs for innovative clients, creating impactful stories, pitching media, and mentoring junior team members in a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and oversee large public relations programs for multiple accounts
- Manage day-to-day operations of smaller account teams
- Generate impactful media results through writing and pitching
- Place proactive company stories and write contributed articles independently
- Lead and mentor junior team members in public relations fundamentals
Requirements
- Experience as a public relations professional with a track record of generating consistent, impactful results.
- Expert writing skills and seasoned media pitching experience.
- Ability to place proactive company stories and write contributed articles for executives independently.
- Experience owning and overseeing large public relations programs on four accounts.
- Ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of smaller account teams at times.
- Confidence in performing public relations work and willingness to learn how to lead clients.
- Ability to teach new, junior teammates the fundamentals of public relations and share knowledge and ideas across teams.
