Job Description
The Public Relations Account Manager at LaunchSquad is responsible for leading the development and execution of creative PR programs for innovative deep tech and B2B technology companies, managing multiple accounts, guiding teams, and shaping strategic storytelling to enhance brand visibility and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of public relations programs for startup and mid-stage technology companies.
- Manage and oversee multiple accounts across B2B and deep tech sectors, including cybersecurity and AI.
- Partner with leadership to craft story and strategy for each account.
- Activate and implement creative, proactive PR initiatives from scratch.
- Lead and coordinate teams, providing guidance and feedback to achieve program goals.
- Take responsibility for executing challenging or innovative program objectives.
- Mentor and coach team members to support their professional growth.
- Ensure high-quality work by leading by example and maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements
- Must have direct public relations experience capable of leading four or more accounts across a variety of B2B and deep tech, including cybersecurity and AI.
- Must be a seasoned public relations professional with an eye for quality work and the ability to lead by example.
- Must have experience building creative, proactive public relations programs from scratch.
- Must have experience leading teams, activating program work, providing recommendations and feedback to clients and teammates, and making strategic work and people decisions.
- Must partner with company leaders to develop the story and strategy for accounts.
- Must lead the execution of account work, often taking responsibility for the most challenging or innovative program goals.
- Must be skilled in teaching and coaching team members, knowing exactly what each team member needs to focus on to reach their growth goals.
