A Senior Mechanical Engineer at Last Energy will work closely with leadership to address critical mechanical and system-level challenges in the development of next-generation modular nuclear power plants, contributing to innovative, fast-paced projects that aim to transform nuclear energy deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Drive forward critical mechanical and system-level challenges for the fleet-wide product.
Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement engineering solutions.
Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of modular nuclear power plants.
Requirements
Experience working directly with the CEO and core leadership team to drive mechanical and system-level challenges in product development
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where decisions are made quickly and ideas directly shape the product
Proven experience in mechanical engineering related to nuclear power plants or similar high-complexity energy systems
Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to address critical mechanical and system-level challenges
Demonstrated ability to contribute to projects that involve high-throughput manufacturing, efficient supply chains, and rapid deployment strategies
Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems at a fleet-wide or large-scale project level
