Job Description
A Senior Mechanical Engineer at Last Energy will work on solving critical mechanical and system-level challenges for next-generation modular nuclear power plants, collaborating closely with leadership to drive innovation and rapid deployment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive forward critical mechanical and system-level challenges for the fleet-wide product
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on engineering solutions
- Develop and implement mechanical design and system integration strategies for modular nuclear power plants
Requirements
- Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on system-level challenges related to nuclear power or similar high-tech energy systems.
- Ability to work directly with executive leadership, including the CEO and core leadership team, to drive mechanical and system-level project development.
- Proven experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address critical mechanical challenges in the development of modular nuclear power plants.
- Experience in high-throughput manufacturing processes, supply chain management, or rapid deployment strategies related to energy or manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and develop scalable solutions for complex mechanical systems.
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (implying at least a Bachelor's degree, though specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated).
