Job Description
The Nuclear Engineer - Radiological is responsible for supporting safety and licensing analysis for a micro nuclear reactor, ensuring compliance with radiation safety and accident dose standards in collaboration with engineering and safety teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support safety and licensing analysis for the PWR-20 micro nuclear reactor
- Ensure the PWR-20 design complies with radiation safety standards
- Collaborate with nuclear engineering and safety analysis teams to meet accident dose requirements
Requirements
- Experience as a Radiological Engineer supporting safety and licensing analysis for nuclear reactors
- Ability to work closely with nuclear engineering and safety analysis staff
- Knowledge of radiation safety and accident dose requirements for nuclear reactor designs
- Experience supporting the safety and licensing analysis for a micro nuclear reactor, specifically the PWR-20 design
