Job Description
A hands-on Payroll Implementation Consultant responsible for leading the transition of the ANZ payroll systems, ensuring successful parallel runs and go-live by February 2026, within a company focused on innovative energy management technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of the ANZ payroll vendor ensuring successful parallel runs and go-live by February 1, 2026
- Own and manage the payroll implementation process for Australia and New Zealand
- Coordinate and oversee the critical implementation phase of the payroll system transition
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in leading the transition and implementation of payroll systems, specifically owning the transition of an ANZ payroll vendor ensuring successful parallel runs and go-live by 1st February 2026.
- Experience in managing payroll vendor transitions and ensuring successful parallel testing and deployment processes.
- Ability to lead and coordinate the critical implementation phase of payroll system transition projects.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, systems, and vendor management within a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of delivering complex system implementation projects on time and within scope, particularly in payroll or HR systems.
- Excellent project management skills to oversee the entire payroll transition process from planning through to go-live.
- Experience working in or with energy or technology companies is preferred but not explicitly required.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams involved in the payroll transition.
- Availability to commit to a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the project deadline of 1st February 2026.
- Physical and mental capacity to manage high-impact, high-pressure project phases involving detailed testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination.
