Job Description

A Senior Talent Partner responsible for recruiting and building core teams in the New York office to support Kraken's growth across the US, focusing on engineering, product, commercial, and operational roles within a collaborative and high-performing talent team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and scale core teams in the New York office across engineering, product, commercial, and operational roles
  • Participate in hands-on talent acquisition activities to fill key positions
  • Collaborate with the business to improve hiring processes and strategies
  • Help shape the company's growth in a new market through talent acquisition and team building

Requirements

  • Experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with a focus on building core teams in engineering, product, commercial, and operational roles.
  • Ability to perform hands-on delivery of hiring processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Experience in scaling teams during periods of growth, particularly in a new market such as the US.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with the business and a high-performing talent team to improve hiring processes.
  • Proven ability to build out teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working in or with a technology company focused on energy, renewable generation, or smart energy systems is preferred but not explicitly required.
  • Ability to adapt interview processes to accommodate specific candidate needs or preferences, including providing accommodations if necessary.
