Job Description
The Regional Practice Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic development and delivery of Kraken's Residential Flexibility portfolio in North America, acting as a key liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of energy technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the strategic direction of the Residential Flexibility portfolio across North America.
- Serve as the primary liaison between major clients and Kraken's product, technology, and operational teams.
- Manage and coach a team of Client Delivery Leads.
- Translate client needs into technical solutions and request new development as needed.
- Refine scalable solutions to ensure successful client adoption of Kraken's platform.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of complex work streams and project dependencies.
Requirements
- Deep technical and domain expertise to translate client needs, request new development, refine scalable solutions, and ensure successful client adoption of ways of working aligned with the Kraken platform.
- Experience serving as a delivery leader and managing a team of Client Delivery Leads, including coaching and managing a growing internal team.
- Ability to serve as the primary liaison between major clients and Kraken’s product, technology, and operational teams.
- Detailed, hands-on understanding of complex work streams and project dependencies related to energy systems or similar fields.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering strategic direction for a portfolio, specifically in residential flexibility or related energy management areas.
- Strong understanding of the energy industry, including renewable generation, grid management, and utility operations, or equivalent domain knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills to serve as the face of the practice and effectively bridge high-level client strategy with technical execution.
- Ability to request and refine new development requirements based on client needs and ensure scalable solutions are implemented.
- Experience working in a senior leadership role within a technology or energy-focused organization for a significant period, ideally with at least several years of relevant experience.
- Physical and mental capacity to maintain a detailed understanding of complex work streams and project dependencies.
