Job Description

The Finance Administrator is responsible for executing and maintaining day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency to support the company's growth and financial reporting needs in a high-growth energy technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute, maintain, and improve day-to-day financial processes across the US business
  • Ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment between finance and operational teams
  • Support accurate financial reporting and inputs for month-end close
  • Partner with the US Finance Controller to translate financial direction into scalable routines and operational discipline
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure financial processes are effectively implemented
  • Own execution, documentation, and coordination of financial operations to reduce risk and improve visibility
  • Maintain dependable financial information to support business growth and strategic finance work

Requirements

  • Experience in executing, maintaining, and continuously improving financial processes across a business, with the ability to ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment between finance and operational teams.
  • Ability to execute and maintain day-to-day financial operations at the direction of the US Finance Controller, who retains ownership of accounting judgments, policy, compliance, and governance.
  • Strong operational execution skills, with the ability to bring order to ambiguity in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience partnering closely with a Finance Controller or similar role to translate financial direction into scalable routines, reporting visibility, and operational discipline.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure financial processes work in practice, supporting accurate reporting and clean inputs into month-end close.
  • Capability to own execution, documentation, and coordination of financial processes to reduce execution risk, improve visibility, and ensure dependable financial information.
  • Experience supporting the US finance function to scale with confidence by strengthening operational discipline and supporting governance and strategic finance work.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, executional role with a focus on operational capacity to keep core financial processes running smoothly and consistently across teams.
  • Strong communication skills to partner with finance and operational teams and translate financial direction into operational routines.
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment and being comfortable being close to the work.
  • Understanding of financial governance, technical accounting, and compliance requirements (implied by the need to support governance and policy adherence).
