Job Description
A Data Scientist at Kraken Power Electrical Systems will focus on developing and improving grid analytics solutions to support smart, sustainable energy systems, working with data collection, real-time monitoring, and fault management to enable digital transformation for utilities and grid operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and improve grid analytics solutions
- Engage with client problems to develop tailored data-driven insights
- Support data collection, analytics, and real-time monitoring of power systems
- Develop models for fault management, power quality, and power flow
- Collaborate within an agile development environment to build innovative energy solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience in data science, analytics, or related roles with a focus on energy systems or grid analytics.
- Strong skills in data collection, analytics, and real-time monitoring services, including fault management, power quality, and power flow modelling.
- Ability to define and improve grid analytics solutions based on client problems and operational needs.
- Experience working in a collaborative, highly agile development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to engage with interesting client problems.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with grid operators, utilities, and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
