The Project Execution Technician is responsible for coordinating and supervising on-site activities related to the company's land-based marine aquaculture projects, ensuring safety, technical execution, and smooth project progress through collaboration with internal teams and third-party contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate execution-phase activities with internal departments and third-party contractors
Plan and organize on-site tasks according to the project execution plan
Act as the primary on-site contact for stakeholders and contractors
Provide progress, status, and deviation updates to stakeholders
Manage site logistics, including equipment, access control, and safety operations
Ensure work permits are prepared, approved, monitored, and closed
Manage contractor site access, inductions, and sign-in procedures
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment on-site
Monitor on-site work for compliance with scope and safety rules
Intervene in unsafe conditions or scope deviations and report incidents
Develop and implement technical solutions for smaller MOC projects
Support installation, modification, and commissioning activities during project execution
Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving during execution and commissioning
Requirements
Experience coordinating execution-phase activities in a project environment, including planning and organizing on-site tasks in line with the project execution plan and critical works plan.
Ability to act as the primary point of contact on site for internal stakeholders and third-party contractors.
Experience providing structured progress, status, and deviation updates to relevant stakeholders.
Knowledge of coordinating site logistics, including cranes, lifting and hoisting equipment, access control, and safe operations relating to the project.
Experience ensuring that all required work permits are prepared, approved, issued, monitored, and closed in consultation with relevant departments.
Ability to manage contractor site access, inductions, and sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Ensuring the availability and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and gas detectors on-site.
Monitoring on-site execution to ensure compliance with scope, safety rules, and working procedures.
Intervening when unsafe conditions or scope deviations occur and reporting incidents or deviations in line with company procedures.
Experience independently developing and implementing technical solutions for smaller Management of Change (MOC) projects, including design, preparation, execution, and close-out, in collaboration with technical departments.
Supporting installation and modification activities during project execution.
Assisting with field commissioning, testing, and start-up activities as required.
Supporting troubleshooting and practical problem-solving during execution and commissioning, ensuring collaboration with key stakeholders.
Possession of relevant technical or engineering background to support technical execution activities.
Ability to work in a manner that ensures safety, health, and environmental standards are met, with a focus on safe and humane operations for fish and minimal environmental impact.
