Job Description
This internship involves assisting with the operation and data collection of a full-scale wastewater treatment plant at a sustainable aquaculture facility, helping to optimize system performance and ensure environmentally friendly fish production.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect water and sludge samples at regular intervals
- Analyze water and sludge samples in the laboratory
- Assist in maintaining and operating the full-scale wastewater treatment plant
- Report findings and data to the wastewater treatment manager
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest adjustments to the treatment process
Requirements
- Assist in collecting water and sludge samples at regular intervals from the full-scale waste water treatment plant.
- Analyze collected water and sludge samples in the laboratory.
- Report the analysis results back to the waste water treatment manager.
- Help in keeping the full-scale waste water treatment installations running effectively.
- Help to identify bottlenecks in the waste water treatment process and make necessary adjustments based on data collected.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a laboratory and operational environment.
- Willingness to learn about waste water treatment technologies and system configurations.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant educational program related to environmental science, water treatment, engineering, or a similar field (implied by internship nature).
