This internship involves assisting with the operation and data collection of a full-scale wastewater treatment plant at a sustainable aquaculture facility, helping to optimize system performance and ensure environmentally friendly fish production.
Key Responsibilities
Collect water and sludge samples at regular intervals
Analyze water and sludge samples in the laboratory
Assist in maintaining and operating the full-scale wastewater treatment plant
Report findings and data to the wastewater treatment manager
Identify bottlenecks and suggest adjustments to the treatment process
Requirements
Assist in collecting water and sludge samples at regular intervals from the full-scale waste water treatment plant.
Analyze collected water and sludge samples in the laboratory.
Report the analysis results back to the waste water treatment manager.
Help in keeping the full-scale waste water treatment installations running effectively.
Help to identify bottlenecks in the waste water treatment process and make necessary adjustments based on data collected.
Ability to work as part of a team in a laboratory and operational environment.
Willingness to learn about waste water treatment technologies and system configurations.
Currently enrolled in a relevant educational program related to environmental science, water treatment, engineering, or a similar field (implied by internship nature).
