Job Description
A skilled Electrical Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a commercial energy storage environment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to regulations while collaborating with engineers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment in a commercial environment
- Inspect electrical components and wiring for safety and functionality
- Identify electrical problems and perform repairs or replacements of wiring and equipment
- Test electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and resistance
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, and other technicians to complete projects on time and within budget
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- Experience in electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and wiring in a commercial environment.
- Hands-on experience with electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Ensuring all electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely, adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.
- Involvement in wiring systems, inspecting electrical components, identifying electrical problems, and repairing or replacing wiring equipment.
- Testing electrical systems for continuity, voltage, and resistance.
- Documenting work performed and maintaining accurate records of electrical work.
- Flexibility to work in various environments.
- Physical stamina to perform the physical demands of the role.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
