Job Description
The Lead Service Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electric vehicles and charging stations, ensuring their proper functioning to support Highland's mission of electrifying fleets and promoting healthier communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers and technicians to ensure electric vehicles and charging stations are functioning properly.
- Oversee and support technician staff performing testing, repairs, and troubleshooting of EV equipment.
- Provide escalation support for customer issues related to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
- Receive training to repair various equipment including electric vehicle functions, Level 2 EV chargers, DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment.
Requirements
- Experience working closely with customers and Field Service Technicians to ensure electric vehicles and charging stations are functioning properly.
- Ability to perform original equipment manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting customer issues related to electric vehicles and charging stations.
- Willingness to work as a self-starter and demonstrate enthusiasm about electric vehicles (EVs).
- Ability to provide team oversight and escalation support to technician staff performing repairs and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training provided by Highland to repair all local equipment including basic electric vehicle functions, Level 2 EV chargers, DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment.
