The Charger Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the uptime, reliability, and performance of Highland's electric vehicle charging infrastructure by managing hardware, software, and connectivity systems, and collaborating with OEMs to resolve systemic issues.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure uptime, reliability, interoperability, and performance of charging infrastructure
Become a subject matter expert in charger hardware, charge management platforms, APIs, telemetry systems, connectivity, and enterprise asset management
Identify remote paths to resolution and surface systemic issues in charging platforms
Collaborate with charger and vehicle OEMs to resolve issues and drive resolution
Requirements
Experience in ensuring the uptime, reliability, interoperability, and performance of charging infrastructure.
Subject matter expertise in Highland s technology stack spanning charger hardware, charge management platforms, APIs, telemetry systems, connectivity, and enterprise asset management systems.
Ability to identify remote paths to resolution, surface and solve systemic charging platform issues, and drive issues to resolution with charger and vehicle OEMs.
Experience supporting operational excellence and rapid issue resolution in a technical environment related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Proficiency in collaborating across teams to support continuous improvement and issue resolution.
Demonstrated ability to become a subject matter expert in relevant technology areas related to electric vehicle charging systems.
