Job Description
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of key components for Hgen's advanced alkaline electrolyzer, from prototypes to production systems, contributing to the company's mission of creating a sustainable energy future through clean hydrogen technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems
- Own the success of core components from prototypes to production-scale systems
- Create innovative, reliable, and manufacturable design solutions
- Collaborate within a fast-paced startup environment to develop and commercialize advanced alkaline electrolyzers
Requirements
- Experience in driving the design and delivery of key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems.
- Ownership of the success of core components from lab-scale prototypes to production-scale systems.
- Ability to develop novel design solutions that are simple, reliable, and manufacturable.
- Knowledge, experience, and creativity in mechanical design related to electrolysis systems.
- Experience working within a fast and collaborative start-up environment, particularly in developing and commercializing advanced alkaline electrolyzers.
