Job Description
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of key components for Hgen's advanced alkaline electrolyzer, from prototypes to production systems, contributing to the company's mission of creating sustainable clean hydrogen solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems
- Own the success and performance of core components from prototypes to production systems
- Create innovative, reliable, and manufacturable design solutions for electrolysis technology
Requirements
- Experience in driving the design and delivery of key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems.
- Ownership of the success of core components from lab-scale prototypes to production-scale systems.
- Ability to develop novel design solutions that are simple, reliable, and manufacturable.
- Knowledge, experience, and creativity in mechanical design related to electrolysis systems.
- Experience working within a fast and collaborative start-up environment.
- Proficiency in developing and commercializing advanced alkaline electrolyzer systems.
