Job Description
The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems for advanced alkaline electrolyzers, from prototypes to production, in a fast-paced startup environment focused on clean hydrogen technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the design and delivery of key components of the electrolysis cell, stack, and system
- Own the success of core components from lab-scale prototypes to production-scale systems
- Develop innovative, reliable, and manufacturable design solutions for electrolysis components
Requirements
- Experience in driving the design and delivery of key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems.
- Ownership of the success of core components from lab-scale prototypes to production-scale systems.
- Ability to develop novel design solutions that are simple, reliable, and manufacturable.
- Knowledge, experience, and creativity in mechanical design related to electrolysis systems or similar technologies.
- Experience working within a fast and collaborative start-up environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and commercialize advanced alkaline electrolyzer systems.
