Job Description
The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering key components of advanced alkaline electrolyzers, from prototypes to production systems, to support clean hydrogen technology and sustainable energy goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems
- Own the success of core components from prototypes to production-scale systems
- Develop innovative, reliable, and manufacturable design solutions
Requirements
- Experience in driving the design and delivery of key components of electrolysis cells, stacks, and systems.
- Ownership of the success of core components from lab-scale prototypes to production-scale systems.
- Ability to develop novel design solutions that are simple, reliable, and manufacturable.
- Knowledge, experience, and creativity in mechanical design related to electrolysis systems.
- Experience working within a fast-paced and collaborative start-up environment.
- Proficiency in developing and commercializing advanced alkaline electrolyzer systems.
