Job Description
Gotion Inc. is seeking a Visual Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain CCD-based vision systems for quality control and automation in battery cell manufacturing, ensuring precision and efficiency in a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate CCD-based vision systems for quality control in battery cell manufacturing
- Develop algorithms and software for real-time defect detection and image analysis
- Collaborate with automation teams to align vision systems with robotic workflows
- Calibrate and maintain CCD equipment to ensure consistent high-volume production performance
- Troubleshoot vision system issues and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with CCD technology or vision systems, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Proficiency in image processing software and programming languages such as OpenCV, Python, and C.
- Experience with integrating vision systems into automated production lines.
- Strong understanding of optics, lighting, and sensor technologies.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain vision systems utilizing Charge-Coupled Device (CCD) technology for high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Ability to develop algorithms and software to process and analyze images captured by CCD cameras for real-time defect detection.
- Experience collaborating with robotics and automation teams to align vision systems with robotic workflows, including guiding robotic arms or verifying assembly accuracy.
- Ability to calibrate and maintain CCD equipment to ensure consistent performance.
- Troubleshooting skills to resolve vision system issues and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and reliability.
- Knowledge of safety and industry standards for battery manufacturing.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $80,000 - $120,000
15% bonus
Work schedule: Full-Time
