Job Description
The QMS Engineer at Gotion Inc. is responsible for developing and maintaining the quality management system, conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and driving continuous improvement to ensure high-quality production in the battery manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the QMS system architecture based on organizational structure.
- Establish and manage quality system documents, including the quality manual and procedures.
- Organize and oversee internal quality system audits and management reviews.
- Coordinate certification processes with third-party agencies and manage certification audits.
- Identify quality trends and potential issues, and propose preventive measures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and verify corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop standard inspection guidelines and maintain records of quality activities.
- Track industry best practices and promote continuous process and quality system improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- US Citizenship or a Green Card
- At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering in the manufacturing industry, with priority given to those with experience in battery or automotive battery industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Build a QMS system architecture based on the organizational structure
- Establish quality system documents including a quality manual based on factory requirements and company background, responsible for organizing the related functions for the procedure document cross checking and sign-off, and keep it running
- Organize internal quality system audits and management reviews, coordinate with third-party training and certification agencies, organize certification document submission, and be in charge of certification audits until certificate release
- Identify trends and potential issues and propose preventive measures to reduce risks
- Organize root cause analysis of quality issues, promote and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures
- Develop standard inspection guidelines
- Maintain clear records of all quality activities, including quality reports, audit records, and corrective measures
- Track industry best practices and quality standards and promote factory quality systems and process optimization
- Proficient in quality tools, especially in APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 (base salary)
Eligibility for bonus
