The QMS Engineer at Gotion Inc. is responsible for developing and maintaining the quality management system, conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and driving continuous improvement to ensure high-quality production in the battery manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the QMS system architecture based on organizational structure.
Establish and manage quality system documents, including the quality manual and procedures.
Organize and oversee internal quality system audits and management reviews.
Coordinate certification processes with third-party agencies and manage certification audits.
Identify quality trends and potential issues, and propose preventive measures.
Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and verify corrective and preventive actions.
Develop standard inspection guidelines and maintain records of quality activities.
Track industry best practices and promote continuous process and quality system improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
US Citizenship or a Green Card
At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering in the manufacturing industry, with priority given to those with experience in battery or automotive battery industry
Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Build a QMS system architecture based on the organizational structure
Establish quality system documents including a quality manual based on factory requirements and company background, responsible for organizing the related functions for the procedure document cross checking and sign-off, and keep it running
Organize internal quality system audits and management reviews, coordinate with third-party training and certification agencies, organize certification document submission, and be in charge of certification audits until certificate release
Identify trends and potential issues and propose preventive measures to reduce risks
Organize root cause analysis of quality issues, promote and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures
Develop standard inspection guidelines
Maintain clear records of all quality activities, including quality reports, audit records, and corrective measures
Track industry best practices and quality standards and promote factory quality systems and process optimization
Proficient in quality tools, especially in APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA
