Job Description
The Technical Program Manager will lead US OEM customer projects in lithium battery cell development, overseeing the process from concept to production, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project success in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with US OEM customers to drive and coordinate cell development and manufacturing efforts.
- Manage projects from concept through to production handover, serving as the main point of contact.
- Develop detailed manufacturing program plans including strategy, scope, schedule, resources, and costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing programs with project objectives.
- Create, maintain, and communicate project schedules to engineering leadership.
- Identify innovative solutions to overcome project obstacles and ensure schedule adherence.
- Prioritize and track progress of cross-functional team tasks, balancing schedule, risk, resources, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge and strong industry experience in lithium-ion battery cell technology.
- Minimum of 5 years in product development or manufacturing, with a mix of engineering and project management roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects for mass-produced products.
- Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Confluence.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and manage large teams.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
