Job Description
This role involves providing technical pre-sales support and account management for energy storage systems (ESS), collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams to ensure successful project design, customer satisfaction, and product development in the renewable energy and electric vehicle sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales technical support for customer account engagements, including documentation development and training.
- Manage pre- and post-sales technical account activities to ensure successful ESS solution adoption and business growth.
- Support utility-scale and commercial projects with customized design solutions to ensure design wins and cost savings.
- Collect and relay feedback on product technical issues to R&D and Product Management for improvements.
- Lead development of market training, technical tools, and documentation for ESS products.
- Coordinate field testing and gather feedback on new hardware and software.
- Collaborate with Customer Support to address technical issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Engage with customers and partners on ESS system applications and integration with balance of system components.
- Develop technical documentation including specifications, manuals, safety certifications, and proposals.
- Work with sales teams to deliver high-quality technical support, prioritize opportunities, and support project wins.
- Coordinate with R&D and design teams to ensure product readiness and positioning for business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Management to develop and promote technical tools and training for sales and partners.
- Act as a technical liaison for customer feedback and product issues, providing solutions and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or a Master of Science (MS) degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in ESS engineering design, technical pre-sales support, and project management.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical subject matter with external partners and customers.
- Strong networking and communication expertise.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, domestically, and at times internationally.
