Job Description
A ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, developing, and customizing applications on the ServiceNow platform to support IT Service Management processes, while collaborating with teams to improve service delivery and implement platform enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM processes
- Perform configuration and customization of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
- Configure and enhance Service Catalog, workflows, and automation to improve service delivery
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications using APIs and web services
- Write and document code using JavaScript, Glide API, and related technologies
- Administer multiple ServiceNow instances, including access control, workflow automation, and system upgrades
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation of configurations, workflows, and customizations
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends to recommend platform enhancements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator, with strong IT Service Management (ITSM) expertise.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM or other modules.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, workflow automation, and integrations using APIs, web services, and connectors.
- Experience performing hands-on configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Ability to develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications using APIs, web services, and connectors.
- Experience configuring and enhancing Service Catalog, workflows, and automation to improve service delivery and user experience.
- Ability to write and document clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript, Glide API, and related technologies.
- Experience administering multiple ServiceNow instances, including access control, workflow automation, data integrity, and system upgrades.
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and customizations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
