Job Description
A Robotics Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robotic systems to automate and optimize battery cell manufacturing processes in a high-volume production facility, enhancing efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and program robotic systems for material handling, assembly, and quality inspection in battery cell production
- Integrate robots with existing manufacturing equipment to ensure seamless operation
- Optimize robotic workflows to improve throughput and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop automation solutions for lithium battery manufacturing
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrades on robotic systems to ensure reliability
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in robotics engineering, preferably in manufacturing or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Experience with robotic arms (e.g., FANUC, ABB, or KUKA) and vision systems.
- Ability to design, program, and maintain robotic systems for tasks such as material handling, assembly, and quality inspection in battery cell production.
- Experience integrating robots with existing manufacturing equipment to ensure seamless operation in a high-volume production environment.
- Ability to optimize robotic workflows to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrades on robotic systems to ensure operational reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations related to robotic systems and manufacturing environments.

Compensation/salary range: $80,000 - $120,000
15% bonus
