Job Description
The Production Planner at Gotion Inc. is responsible for scheduling and analyzing production processes for battery module and cell manufacturing, supporting capacity planning, optimizing operations, and ensuring efficient resource utilization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create production schedules aligned with demand and capacity
- Analyze production capacity and demand to inform strategic planning
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve production processes
- Respond to production shortfalls and material shortages with impact assessments and options
- Generate and publish production performance metrics and forecasts
- Communicate production plans, revisions, and performance to stakeholders
- Assist in implementing inventory control solutions to minimize shortages and optimize flow
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering Operations, Supply Chain management or the equivalent experience
- Demonstrated high volume production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 1 year experience structuring and building analytical models
- Ability to create clear and impactful reports and PowerPoint presentations, effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement in operations and reporting information visibility
- Experience with MS Outlook, Teams, Office including Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Experience working with ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred
Benefits & Perks
US base salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 plus 15% bonus
