Job Description
The Senior HR Manager will lead all human resources functions for Gotion's manufacturing facility in Illinois, focusing on building HR infrastructure, talent acquisition, employee relations, training, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture during the plant's ramp-up and high-growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy development and workforce planning for plant ramp-up
- Manage talent acquisition for hourly and salaried roles
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Design and implement training programs for onboarding, compliance, and skill development
- Partner with corporate teams to administer compensation and benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR policies
- Advise plant leadership on organizational design, culture, and workforce issues
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment
Requirements
- Eight to ten years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to manufacturing environments, and proven experience supporting high-growth, ramp-up, or startup operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including federal, state, and local employment laws such as FLSA, OSHA, and EEOC.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leadership and drive organizational change.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading or managing HR staff or teams (preferred).

Compensation/salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 USD
