Job Description
The Cell Production Manager at Gotion Inc. oversees manufacturing operations for battery cell production, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, large-scale environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans to meet deadlines and targets
- Monitor and manage production progress, quality metrics, and costs
- Maintain 5S standards and Visual Management systems on the shop floor
- Conduct daily Gemba walks to identify and resolve bottlenecks
- Optimize workflows using lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste
- Oversee maintenance and operation of production equipment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement smart manufacturing techniques
- Build, train, and manage a high-performing production team
- Evaluate team performance and foster a collaborative work environment
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Procurement teams to support product launches and process stabilization
- Ensure compliance with quality management standards such as ISO9001 and ISO14001
- Enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Prepare and analyze production reports to provide actionable insights to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing production management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role within large-scale production environments.
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, production techniques, and equipment management.
- Strong capabilities in production planning, cost control, quality assurance, and efficiency improvement.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software such as SAP and MES.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- High level of responsibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead a team through high-pressure production ramps and process stabilization.

Compensation/salary range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
