Job Description
The role involves leading efforts to secure funding, investment, and government grants for Gotion's clean energy manufacturing and energy storage projects, while managing relationships with government agencies, investors, and strategic partners to support the company's growth in the electric vehicle and energy storage sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure investment capital, government grants, and public funding for clean energy manufacturing and storage projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, government agencies, and economic development organizations.
- Prepare and manage funding applications, proposals, and due diligence materials.
- Track and evaluate market trends, investment vehicles, and legislative developments related to clean energy funding.
- Manage the full lifecycle of government grants, including application, compliance, reporting, and closeout.
- Identify and apply for federal and state tax incentives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Engage with government officials and agencies to support legislative and policy initiatives.
- Support business development efforts by identifying funding options to enhance customer proposals and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: government grant management, energy project finance, commercial banking, business development, economic development, or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and secure funding, capital, or business opportunities through grants, loans, investments, or commercial channels.
- Strong relationship-building skills with government agencies, financial institutions, elected officials, investors, or business community stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing proposals, presentations, applications, or business correspondence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Commercial mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

Compensation/salary range: $155,000.00 - $220,000.00 plus 15% bonus
