Job Description
The Process Engineer Intern supports manufacturing process development, optimization, and quality control activities in a fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience in equipment ramp-up, process troubleshooting, and data analysis within the battery and energy storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and define process flows, equipment selection, and technical documentation for production lines
- Support activities during production trial runs, equipment installation, debugging, validation, and ramp-up
- Compile, update, and review process documentation such as flowcharts, work instructions, and standards
- Identify and resolve on-site process issues on the production line
- Track and document quality issues to prevent recurrence
- Evaluate and verify new equipment, tools, and technologies for manufacturing processes
- Plan and conduct process experiments, including data collection and analysis
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrochemistry, Physical Materials, or a related engineering discipline.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and process engineering principles.
- Strong interest in process improvement, data analysis, and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data with attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $20 per hour
Work schedule: 10-week internship program from June 2026 to August 2026
