Job Description
The Plant Controller will oversee financial operations at Gotion's manufacturing plant in Illinois, including cost accounting, budgeting, and compliance, while partnering with operations to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all plant-level financial operations, including cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Partner with Plant and Operations leadership to provide financial insights supporting decision-making, cost efficiency, and productivity improvements.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, and external audits.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on plant performance metrics such as cost variances, inventory accuracy, and capital expenditures.
- Develop and lead a finance team onsite, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in financial processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7 years of progressive finance experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or plant controller role.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop a finance team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with complex data.

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 USD
