Job Description
The role involves leading government relations efforts for Gotion Inc., including policy monitoring, advocacy, and building strategic partnerships within the energy sector to support the company's growth and compliance in the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily communications with U.S. federal and state governments, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to promote policy dialogue and coordinate interests.
- Monitor and analyze U.S. policy trends in energy, battery manufacturing, and supply chain security, producing in-depth reports.
- Participate in congressional hearings and policy lobbying to advocate for tax incentives, subsidies, and compliance exemptions.
- Build strategic partnerships with lawmakers, policy think tanks, and industry alliances.
- Manage government communication and public opinion responses during crisis events such as trade sanctions and national security reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Business Management, or related fields.
- At least 15 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or related fields, with a strong track record of managing government relations.
- Deep understanding of U.S. policy-making processes, regulatory systems, and industry regulations, especially in the energy sector.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with government officials.
- Strong policy analysis and leadership abilities, with a commitment to high professional ethics and compliance.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $185,000 - $250,000 USD
