Job Description
The Lean Six Sigma Specialist at Gotion Inc. will lead process improvement projects within manufacturing operations, focusing on optimizing battery module and cell production processes through data analysis, Lean methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and improve manufacturing productivity.
- Utilize DMAIC methodology to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process enhancement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to streamline processes and improve product quality.
- Develop, train, and mentor employees in Lean and Six Sigma principles and tools.
- Perform time studies, process mapping, and value stream analysis to identify bottlenecks.
- Implement and sustain Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban.
- Track and report project progress, cost savings, and key performance metrics to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a focus on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 with 15% bonus
