Job Description
A Lean Six Sigma Specialist responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiency within Gotion's battery production facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and improve manufacturing productivity.
- Apply DMAIC methodology to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for operational enhancement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to streamline processes and improve product quality.
- Develop, train, and mentor employees in Lean and Six Sigma tools and principles.
- Perform time studies, process mapping, and value stream analysis to identify inefficiencies.
- Implement and sustain Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban.
- Track and report project progress, cost savings, and key performance metrics to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a focus on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience conducting data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement across manufacturing operations.
- Experience performing time studies, process mapping, and value stream analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Experience implementing and sustaining 5S and other Lean tools such as Kaizen and Kanban.
- Ability to develop, train, and mentor employees in Lean and Six Sigma principles and tools.
- Ability to track and report project progress, savings, and other key metrics to leadership.
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations to promote a safe and productive work environment.

Compensation/salary range: 70k - 90k USD with 15% bonus
