Job Description
The IT Manager will lead the design, implementation, and management of the company's network infrastructure, oversee cybersecurity and system upgrades, and coordinate global IT strategies, all while managing a team and liaising with international teams in a manufacturing and energy storage technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Cisco LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure to ensure network performance and security
- Lead and guide the IT team, aligning efforts with organizational goals for Helpdesk, MES, and Infrastructure
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches
- Coordinate with global IT teams to ensure alignment on strategies and standards
- Oversee hardware, software, and network system upgrades in line with business needs
- Manage relationships with IT vendors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with ISO27001, TISAX, and relevant data protection and privacy regulations
- Provide escalation support for complex IT issues to ensure timely resolution
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and at least business level Chinese (Mandarin) in written and spoken form is required to support communication with global teams and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 7 years of IT experience with a focus on network management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within IT.
- Proficiency in managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and VMware environments.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with managing LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure, ensuring network performance and security.
- Experience overseeing hardware, software, and networking system upgrades in alignment with business needs.
- Ability to research, procure, implement, and maintain all companywide software solutions.
- Experience managing relationships with IT vendors to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO27001, TISAX, and relevant data protection and privacy laws.
- Providing escalation support for complex IT issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and hybrid IT environments.
- Strong leadership and project management skills to lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with other department managers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
